RONA FORTUNAE

Rammel Chan is Chicago-based actor and writer. He has performed at Lookingglass, Writers Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf and the late Victory Gardens, among others. Rammel was a New Stages resident playwright at the Goodman in 2023, along with Matthew C. Yee. He is a Kundiman Fellow and his speculative fiction has appeared in Asimov’s Science Fiction, Riksha, Empyrean Literary Magazine and The Tiger Moth Review. His family dramedy Tomato Tattoo received a development grant through Chicago DCASE as part of their inaugural Studio Residency program. In 2025, he was honored to receive a 3Arts Award in Theater.

CLOWNFISHING

Bailey Jordan Garcia (he/they) is a trans, NYC-based playwright/actor/producer. Recent plays include: “MAC IN CHEESE” (American University), “DRAMA TRIANGLE” (Write Club’s Punching Bag Series). As a playwright, they’ve worked with places such as Atlantic Theatre Company, The Blank, Boston Theatre Company, Cry Havoc, Ohio University, and over 50 others! They’ve been commissioned by PlayGround-NY/LA and the Appalachian Center for the Arts and has been in residency with PlayGround-NY/LA, Purple Light Productions, and Write Club. Bailey is also the proud Co-Founder/Artistic Director of Fresh Binder Productions, a theatrical home for transgender/gender non-conforming playwrights. THROWBACK ISLAND

Ro Reddick is a queer Black playwright, songwriter, and educator. She writes off-kilter comedies; the theme songs to your late capitalist nightmares. Ro is the 2025 - 2026 recipient of the Paula Vogel Playwriting Award and an artist-in-residence at the Vineyard Theatre. Her play Cold War Choir Practice (2026 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize) premiered in Clubbed Thumb’s Summerworks 2025 (NYT Critic’s Pick, dir. Knud Adams), co-produced by Page 73, and is currently being remounted at MCC Theater in a co-production with all three organizations. Cold War Choir Practice was also produced in September 2025 at Trinity Repertory Company (dir. Aileen Wen McGroddy). Ro is a 2026 Audrey Resident at New Georges and an alum of the Page 73 Writers Group, the PWC Core Apprentice Program, and the DGF Playwriting Fellowship, and People’s Light QPA. Her plays have been developed by The Ground Floor (Berkeley Rep), Bushwick Starr Reading Series, Williamstown Theatre Festival (NYC Reading, dir. Jamario Stills), Clubbed Thumb, Page 73, and Trinity Rep. Ro has an MFA in Playwriting from Brown University and an MBA from NYU, which she has no intention of using.

Ebby Offord (she/they) is a proud South Side Chicagoan who received her B.A. in Drama from Washington University in St. Louis. Since returning to Chicago, Ebby has been fortunate to have directed and acted around the city. Previous (selected) credits: Love's Labour's Lost (Assistant Director - Midsommer Flight), Evil Perfect (Bramble Theatre Company), Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Midsommer Flight), ABORT: The Mission and Millennial Church (Director - Bramble Festival of Unfinished Work), and Ruined (Director - Reginald Vaughn Theater).

Hannah Todd is a Chicago-based director very excited to be working at Bramble for the first time! Recent credits include: assistant directing Holiday at Goodman Theatre; directing Marys Seacole (co-director, Griffin Theatre), Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins (Strawdog Theatre, 2021 and 2022), Thrones! A Musical Parody (Apollo Theater); associate directing Cambodian Rock Band (Victory Gardens/Merrimack Repertory Theater, dir. Marti Lyons); assistant directing at Chicago Shakespeare, Lookingglass, and Northlight. Prior to Chicago, Hannah was based in Washington, DC, where she co-founded We Happy Few Productions and directed Hamlet, The Tempest, Romeo and Juliet, The Winter’s Tale, The Dog in the Manger, and Macbeth and assistant directed at Shakespeare Theatre, Folger, and Studio Theatre. Nick Alfano (They/Them) is a Chicago-based director, actor, and producer. They are honored to be working with Bramble and the talented team behind Clownfishing. Alfano is the Artistic and Marketing Director of Loose Cannon, where they have directed productions such as, The Maiden’s Prayer, The River, and Gruesome Playground Injuries. Recent acting credits include The Tempter Wears Pr*da (Annoyance Theatre), Henry VI, Part I, II, and III, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Midland Shakespeare Project) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Center Stage). Ky Rambo (professionally: Kylie Anderson) (they/she) is represented by Stewart Talent. Ky is a company member at Avalanche Theatre and a founding company member at Bramble Theatre Company but has worked with a medley of other theaters in Chicago including Redtwist, Remy Bumppo, Steppenwolf, and Lookingglass Theatre. Ky has studied at University of Oklahoma (BFA: Drama, Acting Emphasis), Stella Adler’s Studio in New York City, NY (Physical Theatre), The Actor’s Gymnasium in Evanston, IL (two years of Aerial Arts and Clown), and School at Steppenwolf (Class of 2019) in Chicago.

PAULIE (THROWBACK ISLAND)

Alexander Attea is delighted to return to Bramble after The Pets, understudying Evil Perfect, and having his play Grape Leaves performed in 2024’s Festival of Unfinished Work. He is the Artistic Director of Avalanche Theatre, the Creative Director of the Fine Arts Building & Studebaker Theater, and a playwright, musician, and visual artist. Haley Bolithon is a Bramble ensemble member. Past Bramble credits include Baboon in The Pets, Daughter in Racecar Racecar Racecar, Ryan in Rooted, and The Festival of Unfinished Works 2024-25. Chicago theatre credits include Revolution (u/s), Grey House, and The Haven Place at A Red Orchid Theatre, Henry V, The Nutcracker and Hatfield & McCoy at The House Theatre, Herland (u/s) at Redtwist Theatre, Pinocchio at Chicago Children’s Theatre, Spring Awakening at Blank Theatre Company, and A Christmas Carol at the Goodman Theatre. Alexandra is totally stoked to make her Bramble debut with Throwback Island! Previous credits include: In Quietness - Jeff Award nomination - and the world premiere of VEAL (A Red Orchid Theatre); Noises Off (Steppenwolf, dir. Anna D. Shapiro); Late, A Cowboy Song (Couch Penny Ensemble); and special projects/readings with Theatre L’Acadie, The Gift Theatre, Chicago Dramatists, and The Den Theater.  Fin Coe (he/him) is a is a Chicago theatre artist, game designer, and hockey player. Originally from the Bay area, Fin is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, and has also studied at the iO, the Second City, and writing programs throughout the city. Fin has performed with Jackalope Theatre, Silk Road Rising, the New Coordinates, and Halcyon Theatre, among others.

ADRIANNA (CLOWNFISHING)

Stephanie Fongheiser (she/her) is thrilled to be returning to Bramble Theatre after previously performing The Pets and in their staged readings of Blood of My Mother and Cancelina. David Gordon-Johnson is excited to be working with Bramble for the first time! Suzy Krueckeberg is thrilled to act with Bramble where she is an ensemble member and acted in The Pets. She was recently in The Totality of All Things at Redtwist. Other credits include Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Sonia), Ripcord (Marilyn), Plano (U/S Mother), Twelfth Night (Toby Belch), and Rabbit Hole (Nat). Vic Kuligoski is a Chicago-based actor whose stage work includes productions with Paramount Theatre, Northlight Theatre, TimeLine Theatre Company, Lifeline Theatre, and Factory Theater. His film and television credits include projects on Netflix, Prime Video, and Shudder. When he’s not in the theatre, he enjoys playing guitar, collecting records, and catching live music around the city. Ben Locke is a Black, Queer and Nonbinary Chicago Writer, Actor, Director, Casting Director and Producer. Most of my work focuses on Black/Queer experiences and tries to focus on joy rather than trauma, as a way to expand how this industry sees us and what stories we're allowed to be part of. More stories for us, by us. Ben is a Chicago actor, director, writer, and casting director. They have worked with theatres such as Steppenwolf, Court, Drury Lane, Music Theatre Works, House Theatre and more. They are forever grateful for all the support of family, friends and loved ones! Dana is a Chicago-based actor and voiceover artist. Most recently, she has worked with Midsommar Flight (Love's Labour's Lost), Stone Soup Shakespeare (Pericles), and GreatWorks Theatre Company (Romeo & Juliet; Number the Stars; Fractured Fairytales). You may have heard her in national broadcast commercials for Pedisure and National Geographic.

JACKSON (THROWBACK ISLAND)

Austin Millard is extremely excited to be a part of Bramble Theatre's Spring Reading Series. Based in Chicago and represented by Lily’s Talent Agency, he has recently graduated from UIC with a Bachelors in Theatre and Performance. His recent work includes playing Arnold in UIC Theatre's production of Exit Strategy directed by Eddie Torres and understudying in Bramble Theatre's Festival of Unfinished Work last summer. Mia Park is a multi-dimensional artist and health care provider based in Chicago. She facilitates grassroots projects that connect people and experiences. Boundless enthusiasm fuels her community engagement as a hospice nurse, actor,  
taiji and yoga teacher, cultural producer, and professor. Mia is artistic director of Asian American Arts Chicago, a 501c3 not-for-profit group dedicated to supporting AAPI creativity.

Faiz Siddique is an actor based in Chicago. Most recently Faiz can be seen at Theater Wit, where he is an under-study as Farid in THE ALLY.
