    RONA FORTUNAE

    Rammel Chan is Chicago-based actor and writer. He has performed at Lookingglass, Writers Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf and the late Victory Gardens, among others. Rammel was a New Stages resident playwright at the Goodman in 2023, along with Matthew C. Yee. He is a Kundiman Fellow and his speculative fiction has appeared in Asimov’s Science Fiction, Riksha, Empyrean Literary Magazine and The Tiger Moth Review. His family dramedy Tomato Tattoo received a development grant through Chicago DCASE as part of their inaugural Studio Residency program. In 2025, he was honored to receive a 3Arts Award in Theater.

  • Bailey Jordan Garcia

    Bailey Jordan Garcia (he/they) is a trans, NYC-based playwright/actor/producer. Recent plays include: “MAC IN CHEESE” (American University), “DRAMA TRIANGLE” (Write Club’s Punching Bag Series). As a playwright, they’ve worked with places such as Atlantic Theatre Company, The Blank, Boston Theatre Company, Cry Havoc, Ohio University, and over 50 others! They’ve been commissioned by PlayGround-NY/LA and the Appalachian Center for the Arts and has been in residency with PlayGround-NY/LA, Purple Light Productions, and Write Club. Bailey is also the proud Co-Founder/Artistic Director of Fresh Binder Productions, a theatrical home for transgender/gender non-conforming playwrights.   • Ro Reddick

    THROWBACK ISLAND

    Ro Reddick is a queer Black playwright, songwriter, and educator. She writes off-kilter comedies; the theme songs to your late capitalist nightmares. Ro is the 2025 - 2026 recipient of the Paula Vogel Playwriting Award and an artist-in-residence at the Vineyard Theatre. Her play Cold War Choir Practice (2026 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize) premiered in Clubbed Thumb’s Summerworks 2025 (NYT Critic’s Pick, dir. Knud Adams), co-produced by Page 73, and is currently being remounted at MCC Theater in a co-production with all three organizations. Cold War Choir Practice was also produced in September 2025 at Trinity Repertory Company (dir. Aileen Wen McGroddy). Ro is a 2026 Audrey Resident at New Georges and an alum of the Page 73 Writers Group, the PWC Core Apprentice Program, and the DGF Playwriting Fellowship, and People’s Light QPA. Her plays have been developed by The Ground Floor (Berkeley Rep), Bushwick Starr Reading Series, Williamstown Theatre Festival (NYC Reading, dir. Jamario Stills), Clubbed Thumb, Page 73, and Trinity Rep. Ro has an MFA in Playwriting from Brown University and an MBA from NYU, which she has no intention of using.

    Hannah Todd is a Chicago-based director very excited to be working at Bramble for the first time! Recent credits include: assistant directing Holiday at Goodman Theatre; directing Marys Seacole (co-director, Griffin Theatre), Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins (Strawdog Theatre, 2021 and 2022), Thrones! A Musical Parody (Apollo Theater); associate directing Cambodian Rock Band (Victory Gardens/Merrimack Repertory Theater, dir.     Nick Alfano (They/Them) is a Chicago-based director, actor, and producer. They are honored to be working with Bramble and the talented team behind Clownfishing.     Ky Rambo (professionally: Kylie Anderson) (they/she) is represented by Stewart Talent. Ky is a company member at Avalanche Theatre and a founding company member at Bramble Theatre Company but has worked with a medley of other theaters in Chicago including Redtwist, Remy Bumppo, Steppenwolf, and Lookingglass Theatre.     Alexander Attea is delighted to return to Bramble after The Pets, understudying Evil Perfect, and having his play Grape Leaves performed in 2024’s Festival of Unfinished Work. He is the Artistic Director of Avalanche Theatre, the Creative Director of the Fine Arts Building & Studebaker Theater, and a playwright, musician, and visual artist.      Fin Coe (he/him) is a is a Chicago theatre artist, game designer, and hockey player. Originally from the Bay area, Fin is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, and has also studied at the iO, the Second City, and writing programs throughout the city. Fin has performed with Jackalope Theatre, Silk Road Rising, the New Coordinates, and Halcyon Theatre, among others.

    Stephanie Fongheiser (she/her) is thrilled to be returning to Bramble Theatre after previously performing The Pets and in their staged readings of Blood of My Mother and Cancelina.     Vic Kuligoski is a Chicago-based actor whose stage work includes productions with Paramount Theatre, Northlight Theatre, TimeLine Theatre Company, Lifeline Theatre, and Factory Theater. His film and television credits include projects on Netflix, Prime Video, and Shudder. When he’s not in the theatre, he enjoys playing guitar, collecting records, and catching live music around the city.     Austin Millard is extremely excited to be a part of Bramble Theatre's Spring Reading Series. Based in Chicago and represented by Lily’s Talent Agency, he has recently graduated from UIC with a Bachelors in Theatre and Performance. His recent work includes playing Arnold in UIC Theatre's production of Exit Strategy directed by Eddie Torres and understudying in Bramble Theatre's Festival of Unfinished Work last summer. ALISHIANA UYAO (STAGE MANAGER) (she/her) is a multi-hyphenate Chicago-based, Filipino artist involved with theatres like Bramble, Pegasus Theatre, Backyard Theatre Co., GreatWorks, AlphaBet Soup Productions, and Facility Theatre. Select credits include The Pets (SM) and Rooted (ASM) with Bramble, 3 Little Pigs (SM, AlphaBet Soup), Pigeon (SM, GreatWorks), 39th Annual Young Playwrights’ Festival (ASM, Pegasus Theatre) and Tender Napalm (SM, Backyard Theatre Co.). Outside of rehearsals/shows, Ali and her collaborators are working on a queer modern adaptation of A Doll’s House with the Riveter Theatre. YIWEN WU (DRAMATURG) (she/hers) is an artist-scholar, who’s currently a PhD candidate at the University of Chicago, in the joint program between Theater & Performance Studies and East Asian Languages & Civilizations. Yiwen finds her passion in amplifying Asian voices on contemporary stages, from translations and adaptations of classical works to new plays that explore what it means to be Asian in modern America. Her selected dramaturgical credits include Gary: a sequel to Titus Andronicus (also as translator, Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre), Black Bear Island (Silk Road Cultural Center), Akutagawa (Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival), and The Chinese Lady (TimeLine Theatre Company).
